1. What we collect at registration
When you create a B-LINE account we collect:
- Your email address and a securely hashed password, held by our authentication provider
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or older, with the date and time it was given
- Your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions and of this Privacy Policy, with the document version and the date and time of acceptance
- Basic technical information needed to protect registration from automated abuse
2. Why we collect it
We use this information to create and secure your account, to meet the age requirement for the service, to keep a record that consent was given, and to protect B-LINE and its users from abuse.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Passwords
Passwords are never stored in B-LINE application tables. They are handled exclusively by our authentication provider and stored in hashed form.
4. What is private and what is public
Your email address and your legal-consent record are private. They are never shown on a player profile or to other users.
Only information you deliberately choose to publish on B-LINE is visible to other users.
5. Storage and security
Account and consent data is stored in our managed cloud database with row-level access rules, so that a signed-in user can only read their own private records.
No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
6. Retention
We keep your account data while your account exists. Consent records are kept for as long as needed to evidence that consent was given, and are deleted with your account unless we are required to retain them.
7. Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting hello@b-line.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection law.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The version you accepted is recorded with your consent record.
